Two forthcoming seminars of the European Forum on 3-4-5 June 2009The first seminar entitled "Restorative Justice and Restorative Practices - Are they the same?" will deal with one of the core questions of restorative justice: the theoretical understanding of restorative justice and restorative practices, and their possible interrelatedness. The seminar will take place on the 3rd June 2009 from 9.30 till 12.30 in room 01.13 in the Nieuwe Valk building on the Faculty of Law, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Tiensestraat 41, 3000 Leuven, Belgium). This seminar is open to both members and non-members alike. There is no registration fee. Through the highly interesting plenary and workshop presentations the seminar will bring in good examples of what it means to create social support and offer theoretical and practical insights for dealing with the three main channels of collaboration that we aim to engage with. Från och med den 1 januari 2008 har det blivit obligatoriskt för landets alla kommuner att erbjuda medling med lagöverträdare för personer upp till 21 års ålder.SFM har haft önskemål om att ta ansvaret för att vartannat år genomföra en landstäckande kartläggning av medlingsläget, samt att ansvara för sammanställningen av det resultat som inkommer. Syftet med detta är att följa medlingens utveckling i landet. Med anledning av verksamhetens syfte och för att få mer kunskap om medling så kan era svar vara till stor hjälp i vidareutveckling av medlingsarbetet. Därför skulle vi vara mycket tacksamma om ni kan ta er tid och besvara den enkät som vi skickat ut till er som arbetar med medling vid brott.
